Books to read?

Name: Anonymous 2010-01-03 22:42

Before you say 'troll', I actually do not read avidly, but enjoy reading, and would like you guy's suggestions on books. Currently I'm about to start War and Peace, I've got Crime and Punishment, and a bunch of Nietzsche because several people I know recommended it. Does /book/ have any recommendations? I really have no preference, though I like the brain crunchers, so to speak. I hope to get A Clockwork Orange when I'm done with the ones I have now, and eventually hope to read Les Miserables. I got Thomas Mann's Death in Venice that had a lot of his other works like Blood of the Walsungs, A Boy and His Dog, and and others.

Any others I need to get?

Don't bother apologizing. If the guy can't handle a simple colloquialism, he probably wouldn't enjoy the book you suggested.
