Never been a fan of Dawkins. A man who claims to only view the world scientifically sure does put a lot of faith in the idea that God doesn't exist.
Hmm.

Seriously. The existence of God is pretty fucking obvious. It's something most people realize (the non-retarded people) the day they are born. Dawkins and all other atheists must be seriously mentally ill
The God Delusion is fine. Fairly easy going, and something of a relief to have someone talking sustained sense. You'd probably prefer his other books though. I'd particularly recommend Unweaving the Rainbow.

ATHIEST BIBLE
It's really just a lot of cock stroking

It's a book a lot of people have strong opinions about. I kinda like it. But then I'm an atheist/sceptic myself...

Critics hate it with a passion, fans love it with mediocrity. It's a good book and very accessible, but it's not at all in depth. I'd give it a read either way, it's a great piece of literature.
Be warned if you're religious, the way he voices some opinions can come off as forced, but (I've met him) it seems that's just his personality.
Opinion. If you're at all smart you should know that.
But considering you're trolling on 4chans book board with anonymous people, you're probably not too bright.

If you think I'm trolling then you're caught in a web of delusions yourself.

When youre done, you should read The deluded Atheist. Its basically a response book.

Like the 50 other response books that butthurt Christians wrote after The God Delusion.

>the god delusion
>got this for christmas
LOL.
I've never read that. I've got an impression it was worshipped by people like my hardcore-atheist "FUCK YOU, GOD!" friend as some kind of skeptic's bible. I'm non-believer myself, but I hate these loud-mouthed internet atheists.
Anyway, you say it's worth a read? Meh, maybe I'll give it a try.

That's basically what Dawkins is except he's a scientist and his rhetoric is a bit more convincing.
