I've been reading the George Orwell collection published by Everyman's Library and I plan on getting collections by Plutarch, Francis Bacon, Michel de Montaigne. I also enjoy reading Christopher Hitchens and William F. Buckley.

Are there any essay collections or any books in the political/philosophical vein that /book/ would recommend?
