Who would like the creation of a /lit/ imageboard?
I mean, I never frequent the text boards. To be honest, I thought that they had ceased to exist. Furthermore, by the looks of it, this board has a very small population.
The creation of a /lit/ imageboard would then be effective in the sense that: there would be more hits -> more interaction and fresh content, and book files could be embedded to images, just like in the old days.
So, any thoughts on this proposition?

Everyone wants it except moot, who claims it would just be used to post pdfs embedded inside jpgs.

He's not half wrong, though. Even the OP used ebook dumping ground as one of /lit/'s selling points. A board for that express purpose would never be created and if they forbade it it'd require constant moderation.
That said, I still think it would be worth a trial board even if its probable end state is ebook /r/.

I'm sure the /bo/ok image board would eventually get some draw fags and then we'd get a bunch of fan drawn book characters. An imageboard would be awesome though, half the time I forget this one exists, which is good because then the content is semi-fresh.

A trial board is definitely a good idea. It'll attract writefags, author fandoms arguing like Stephen King vs Dean Koontz, and more of what we have already. I don't see the drawfag issue coming up much.
