I've never purchased a book before. I've always borrowed them from friends or torrented them and read them on my computer. I want to buy Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and Return of the King hardcover, but I'm having trouble deciding on which one I should buy.

Should I get this one? http://www.amazon.com/Lord-Rings-J-R-R-Tolkien/dp/0618260587/ref=tmm_hrd_title_2

If not, which one should I get?

I have three copies of the book(s) my self. A softcover single volume and a nice hardcover single volume and a hard cover three volume set that was a gift. Get which one you like, I really like my single volume hardcover http://www.amazon.com/Lord-Rings-50th-Anniversary/dp/0618517650/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1256865550&sr=1-1 . But when I reread it I always use my softcover beater copy.

I'm with >>2 - I have a hardback omnibus for reference, a three-volume paperback set (plus The Hobbit) in slip case for regular re-reading.

Don't change these.
