What is your source for ebooks?
I know irc has a lot but it's a hastle to find and download useful stuff also most are in txt / html format.

google+rapidshit is limited to some books I know there are more...

Really good and wide-ranging source for out of copyright material is http://archive.org - search against "Texts". Books are downloadable as original images, FlipBook, PDF, and DjVu, but don't bother with the txt files, as the OCR is often poor.

I don't see the problem with IRC, but that has quite a bit of ebooks. Probably not what you're looking for though
