A book for everyone and for no one. I just read it, first book from Nietszche i've ever read, and greatest book i've ever read. Gives you strength man, and im sure it made lost of people hate it. I'll read it again to digest it better, what's your opinion? Because if I can't find someone in this board who's ever read Nietszche, 4chan is meaningless

I read part of it but lost interest when he started ranting about how much women suck.

I've got the Kaufmann translation but haven't read it yet.
I have read Beyond Good and Evil, which was fun as hell even though I didn't know what he was on about half the time.

It doesn't count if you don't read it in German.

I didn't get through zarathustra yet, but I have read and analyzed most of the gay science. When you read the anecdote for the 7th time the meaning starts to shine through finally. Not the bets I've ever read, I mean, this guy was an angry basement dweller who liked to spend most of his time critisizing every possible philosophy and bragging that he'd read plato, but some of his thoughts are worth it. Like what he says about why it's bad to help people or express pity for them. Of course he would know, being the pitiable basement dweller he is.

Neitzsche would be a fucking 4channer if he was around nowadays.

I can see how someone who doesn't really understand Nietzsche could feel that way.

I believe 4chan is the best chance we have of overcoming mankind.
How am I wrong? Asocial, hates women, false sense of superiority?

I'm not >>11 but I think 4chan would be seen by Nietzsche as an awful cesspool of the mediocre--weak, spiteful losers struggling to keep one another from rising climbing out of the stench. Which has a bit of truth to it, of course. But superman/messiah narratives like Nietzche's, Rand's, et al. are always best read critically, so don't let it get you down, chantards. Remember that Nietzsche had syphilis and probably fucked his sister.
