I've recently read the 'Monkey' translation of Journey to the West and am interested in whether there are many other fairytale/mythic epics, particularly those that feature a trickster figure like the Monkey King?
I'm not so much looking for stuff like Homer or Virgil; I've read the Aeneid and am aware of Odysseus/Iliad - besides they don't have the fairy tale quality I'm looking for. Thanks anon.
