"You" as the protagonist

Hey /book/

I was wondering if you know of any books where YOU are the protagonist.

Like this: "You walk down the dark hallway while nervously looking over your shoulder. Suddenly you hear a voice just next to you." etc. Get it? I would die to read a book like this.

Are you asking for CYOA, or books written in the second person?

The second person is a cheap way to establish an emotional connection with the reader and it usually comes out sounding awkward. Use if it occasionally, mainly to describe hypothetical situations, is tolerable if the writer is skilled enough, but a full-length novel written that way would suck.

Go play some fucking D&D if you want to be the protagonist. DM makes up the story and you get to use your imagination.
