Started watching that because I've actually considered reading Twilight (For the same reason I used to watch "Mind of Mencia." If I'm going to hate it, I'm going to be informed about hating it.)

and so I started seeing this review, and she said that twilight was "excellently written" and "extremely compelling."

Obviously that will change from person to person. But she said something about the story that really got me.

Apparently Bella joins a new highschool and meets all kinds of boys, and eventually comes across A GODDAMN VAMPIRE.

What the fuck is a Vampire doing in high school? Jesus fucking Christ. Sparkling vampires is bad enough, but now they're sparkling teenage vampires in high school?!

What the fuck.

It actually is a pretty good book no homo

But do you explain why he goes to high school?  It makes no sense out of context, so please tell me in the book it does.

I read Twilight, and from what I can gather the vampire family is going incognito, and I think at one point they say something like "the younger we say we really are, the later we have to move again."

It's a stupid excuse, and even the actor who played Edward thought it was stupid, like he was torturing himself by going through high school over and over.
