Shadowmancer

Fuck knows why i read it. There was a copy at my folks house last time I went to visit. Struck me as one of the few books where maybe it being made into a film would improve it. The story was ok and I did want to know what happened next, but the prose was shitty and the characters shallowly drawn. What does /book/ think of it?
