I started reading this at the bookstore. It seems to be a rather horribly written knock off of Harry Potter, The Chronicles of Narnia, and Lord of the Rings, I couldn't decide if he intended to so blatantly rip off these stories, or if he thought he was writing a legitimate novel. In any case, I don't know where you can get it, but I'm really not sure why you'd want to.
How far into the book did you get? I can't imagine you could read enough of it to really make the judgement without leaving the bookstore.

I read about a hundred pages or so. My kid brother wanted to run around the kids section and my mom was shopping since the store is right by the mall. Maybe further on it strays away from the blatant knock offs, but a hundred pages worth doesn't give me much hope for it.
