Greetings /book/, could you help me identify this novel I once read? I never got to finish it and I forgot the title.
There's these two guys, Seth and (I think) Fry. Seth has a girlfriend with a son, and Fry has a wife and three kids. Seth is the normal nice guy and Fry is the fat loud obnoxious guy.
They work in a mine that was closed for a while after a cave-in that killed a lot of guys. Throughout the book Hell keeps breaking through into the town, animals going crazy, red water, black vines, flies, etc. Very Zalgo-like, most of the stuff appears in the mines first.
There was also something about a crazy old man kept tied to a rocking chair by his wife, and something about a pregnant lady, and a nerdy Area-51 Trekkie type guy.
