I cant seem to find anyone who has read it to talk about it
anyone here read it by chance?

I hated the series. It seemed like wild ramblings to me.

Its by Gene Wolfe and yet you're complaining about a first person narrative from a person with a faulty memeory?
Also, Able is a kid.

Gene Wolfe is a genius of unbelievable magnitude.
But I have not read this.

I just finished "The Knight" and was pretty blown away.  It took about 100 pages to fully getting into (mainly because Able is so hard to like until he starts down the road to Knighthood) but after that is mind-numbingly good.  I can't wait to finish the story.

That's not really the way I see it.  Is it an abstract narrative?  Of course.  That is one of the reasons I like it so much.  But I think it is far from just random rambling.

You mean he's shifting being plains of reality? How exactly do you expect that to be handled?
