Henry Miller's Tropic of Cancer

So /book/, I just got Henry Miller's Tropic of Cancer on the cheap. I'm about 8 pages in and have no idea wtf is going on.

What's /book/'s opinion on Henry Miller, and should I keep reading?

Eight pages seems awfully little to give up on a book, unless the writing is god-awful, which seems not to be the case. Why don't you give it at least fifty pages.

Yeah, I started that book and didn't finish it either. Tell me if it gets good.

I figure I'll keep going for quite a bit more than 8 pages, and the writing is really good, aside from the fact that it's been little more than stream-of-consciousness wandering. Was just wondering of any other anon had finished it?

I have both Tropic of Cancer & Tropic of Capricorn. I started on Cancer because it was written first. So uh, what do you mean #6?
