I read mostly sci-fi and fantasy when I do get into a reading mood and tear through books like crazy, but lately I've been dissatisfied with this and I want to broaden my horizons. I bought A Confederacy of Dunces recently (but am holding off on it until I finish No Country for Old Men and The Uplift War) and I want suggestions on what to read while I scratch my ass with an animal's jawbone and pick fleas off my friend's back. Help me out?
