It seems almost every other board on 4chan is full of people that study/did study science, maths or engineering.

If the liberal arts people hang out anywhere on 4chan, it'd have to be here, right?

You make it sound like it's surprising to find so many logically bent minds here.

The computer and the internet were designed for and by scientists.  It attracts the logically inclined.  Its very structure is logical. 

It'd be like being the first white people to reach Virginia and going "Where the hell did all these Indians come from?"
