Vampires

What are some good vampire books?
I read dracula, lesat, twilight, in the grave and some other stuff. I need a good vampire book.

Have you read the Darren Shan books?

Read all of them in like a day they are really short and kind of meh. I like my vampire books with sex blood and death.

Try Richard Matheson's I Am Legend, even if you've seen the movie.

George R.R. Martin - Fevre Dream, which is really good.
Then there's ton of mostly shitty urban fantasy vampire stuff which I really can't be bothered to list, with the possible exception of Charlie Huston's Joe Pitt series, which for once isn't romance-y chick-lit but more pulp noir and violent.
