I just finished this book, and it is really good. The gist of it is, an Englishman goes to Pyongyang (capital of North Korea) for one year to revise Korean->English translations.
The book itself is a bit dated; from 1988 when the great leader Kim Il Sung was still alive and ruling. I imagine the state of the country has changed quite a lot since then, but it is an amazing read and a unique book at the least.
It isn't a literal book itself, though, as he died shortly after and a publisher was never found. None the less, this guy has put the entire manuscript which is unedited (no publisher) in the form of a web page.
The URL is http://www.aidanfc.net/a_year_in_pyongyang.html. There is a printable version, too.
