mystery teen book

I'm trying to collect a bunch of books that I read when I was younger and I'm wondering if anyone has heard of this one.

Earth is about to be hit by a meteor so they're evacuating in shuttles.  Everyone is put in sleep chambers, but when they wake up they find most of the crew is dead.  Some of the chamber doors are cracked and broken and the living have to venture outside where they find livable atmosphere.

One of the guys has FUCKING HOLES IN HIS LEGS AND A WORM POPS OUT AND THEY KILL IT WITH FUCKING FIRE.  They live there for a while.

I skipped to book 5 or so and they're living in a computerized world made by aliens.

Why do books written for lower reading levels have better plots?

um maybe because you are a stupid child with no understanding of narrative structure??? i mean, you don't even know what the word "plot" means......

If you were an actual adult you would realize that it isn't and that I'm right, but it seems you are just a little baby. Would you like a bottle of milk, little baby? How about a rattle?
