Age of Sail Fiction?

Any recommendations?

A little backstory: I'm reading His Majesty's Dragon from the Temeraire series which is basically uh.. set in the 18th century, with dragons serving in battle along with your typical beefy navies, ships of the line and soforth.

I know that sounds CHEESY AS SHIT but the book is surprisingly awesome.

But since I've taken an interest in the time period, does anyone know any relevant books that aren't bargain bin gay romance novels?  Because that's the first thing my google search turned up.  That's when I decided I should uh.. get some human opinions.

There's a whole bunch of historical fiction about the 18th Century.  Maybe some of those will help?
