No, we here in /book/ actually have good taste. Sorry dude :(

Palahniuk is okay for the first couple of books until you realize he basically just rewrites the same shit in a different setting over and over and over and over.

why is this so true...

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU--

He should've just done screenplays.

That's not entirely true. Choke was fairly different, and it was awesome. Survivor was pretty good, too. As for Fight Club, Haunted, Invisible Monsters, and Snuff, I agree, but enjoy them regardless.

Sadly, I don't think Hollywood would let Palahniuk do screenplays. He enjoys borderline tasteless satire to an extent that would never fly with their commercial mindset.

His newest book Snuff is pretty good.
Rant is good too, it's written in a different style from his other books but it's really interesting.

I liked invisable monsters, not astounding but still good.

Haven't read Haunted yet.

Can't wait for Pygmy.

I once liked him but then I tried reading russian pop literature. Vladimir Sorokin and Victor Pelevin have a similar focus on sex & violence and are much better writers.

Don't change these.
