I'm kind of in a bind, i worked on a different essay paper for a class while ignoring my paper on the hunchback of notre dame, i know this may end in me being flamed, but to anyone who has read the book, can you describe to me who you think the hero would be and maybe some reasons why? answer or not, i don't care, i just need a little bit of help here. thanks in advance.

No heros in this story.

Jehan. I can't think of a more heroic way to go than being thrown off a church while leading a hobo riot.

Just watch the Disney cartoon OP, it is pretty much the a word for word adaption of the book.

The only difference is that the Gargoyles (Victor, Hugo, and Laverne) are the main protagonists, and the narators of the book and play a much larger role in the book than they did in the Disney movie eventually killing Frollo.

Disney decided to change the names of the gargoyles in the film too because their names in the book had been used by the 3 stooges  (larry, Curly and Moe) and it was thought that Americans would be confused if the the names were kept the same.

You should get good marks in your essay if you say that Larry, Curly and Moe were the heroes.

Don't forget the part where Gringoire has to milk a cow without making the bells attached to it jingle.
