I'm looking for a good high fantasy book to read on the plane and in the hotel on my vacation. I was thinking about something from the Runelords series. Any suggestions? Something I can finish in a week?

You can read any book in a week if you spend enough time on it, but im assuming you dont want a 1000 pager. Look into the Harry Potter Series (good quick fantasy reads), the Xanth series I have heard is also good and on the light side, the Bartimeaus Trilogy, the dragon cycle trilogy (one of my favorite short series), and some of the magic the gathering books are very good.
If you DO have a little more time, I would suggest the song of ice and fire series and the Sword of truth saga. Both of those are very good. Hope this helps!
