Romantic Novels

So I've been yearning for some romance novel. The thing is I don't want to read some stale cliche love triangle crap (unless of course it's executed exceptionally well). My question is; does anyone know any good authors or novels that are relevant to my interests?

The Time Traveler's Wife was pretty good.

at first I thought this was going to be about Romantic Literature, something that's actually somewhat interesting, but it turns out it's just about trite and artificial love stories, oh well
