After reading W. Gibson's truly cool Singapore article (and after having heard of some influential books he happened to have written), I figured I'd have to read more of his stuff.
Which of his books would you recommend? I'd be interested in reading Neuromancer (influential book, interesting setting), but it seems to be quite complicated not only language-, but also storywise. Please note English is not my first language, although I'm quite proficient. I don't know if this might pose a problem, but the reviews on amazon suggest quite complicated language structures were employed. So, does this pose a problem to a proficient English speaker, slowing reading speed to a crawl and thus destroying fun/interest?
Could you recommend other books by Gibson? Which one(s) should I start with?
