Really. If you're having a rough week, you might want to consider this line. Dawn breaks open like a wound that bleeds afresh. Somebody's had a bad enough day to come up with that. Is your week really that bad?

One sentence from two of the three previous books I've read (n.p., Norwegian Wood, Stranger in a Strange Land):
1) Now, though, I realize that all I can place in the imperfect vessel of writing are imperfect memories and imperfect thoughts.
2) I refuse to grow any younger for any reason.  I came by my decrepitude the hard way and I propose to enjoy it.
