Musashi, by Eiji Yoshikawa.
Anybody read this book?
I'm working on an essay, and I've run out of inspiration.
I'm working on the second draft of my essay, about Takezo's evolution from savage brute to honorable samurai Musashi. Need to add about 2/3 of a page, and certain things need analysis. But I'm out of ideas to write about them. What about examples of Musashi caring for the needs of other people, in the vein of leaving Akemi behind when he gets out of Himeji castle, because he doesn't want her to have to endure the hardships of his journey.
Seems like he has a similar attitude toward Jotaro, but he doesn't show it well. I'm not sure what examples to use from that.
