It would be out dated and irrelevant to todays modern society. I'm sure Chaucer, Shakespeare and Dickens were relevant in their day but this is the 21st century, we don't have pilgrims, kings called Richard or orphans anymore so those outmoded books and plays bear no relation to modern life.

If someone still read those books for fun in this day and age it would be just like turning up for work in a horse and carriage instead of a car.
