The Greatest Prose

ITT we compile a list of authors who, according to ourselves, stand out from the rest simply by their raw writing ability. The authors who could write a five thousand page novel on paint drying and we would just sit there and read it, mesmerized by every word.

For me it would be China Mieville, George R.R. Martin, and Neal Stephenson.

I want to say JRR Tolkien because I'm a massive faggot for LotR, but honestly, his writing is a little difficult to push yourself through.

I'd have to go with George Orwell.
