Dragonlance

What do people think of the first Dragonlance trilogy? I read it about 6-7 years ago and I'm thinking of getting myself a new print in english rather than my native language just for the sake of it. What about the new Dragonlance books? They seem kinda shit just like the Dune milking books

I never read them, but since they are a D&D spinoff, I gather they are absolutely horrible. I read Gygax novels, some Ravenloft stories and two first Drizzt novels, all of which were absolutely, incredibly and utterly horrible.

I have fond memories of it, as of the Twins.
