Consider it's two weeks late, i guess this won't help. The main father hangs himself once his village seems doomed to the new world order. Symbolizes the death of honor/ society's not based on polytheism or not advancing in technology.
Questions to ask yourself: which life is better? did the Christians act fairly? What do the family structures say, what are the temptations of the new world?
Those are the things that stood out to me. doubt you will ever read this.
I have difficulty remembering this book because it was much like "The River Between"
