ASoIaF (questions and spoilers)

I'm about halfway through A Clash of Kings, and I have two questions I must know the answers to:

Does Joffrey ever get any sort of comeuppance? 'Cause he's a total bastard.

Do the dragons in this series have forelegs or are they like wyverns and do they talk eventually?

1. Yes, and it is glorious. Although by the time he DOES get his comeuppance, you'll hate him a LOT more than you currently do.

2. I don't think it's ever mentioned how many legs they have, but I think they do have forelegs.

Up to book four, they do not talk. There is also no record of any dragon ever talking to anyone, so I don't think they'll be doing any talking.

So how big are they by the fourth book?

Well, to be honest, they aren't IN the fourth book, because the fourth book focuses on King's Landing and the Riverlands.

The Fifth book will mostly be the North and Daenerys. As I recall, in the third book they're getting big enough to fly under their own weight.

I don't really think there is any particular THING that makes you hate him more than Ned, it's just that he maintains a steady level of total dickness.

Do you hate Tywin yet?

That makes me disappointed, I like Daenerys. I also hear that Tyrion isn't in the fourth book, which also disappoints me because he's the only Lannister (thus far) that I think isn't a douche bag.

That said, I don't really hate Tywin yet; he hasn't really done anything too terrible. I used to have a great disliking for Cersei and Jaime, but I understand some of their motivation so I can't hate them as much.

There are actually a lot of characters I dislike so far, actually. But in cases like Sansa, more so the first book, she's not so much of an idiot anymore, but the fact that she still blames Arya for what happened to Lady makes me want to see Littlefinger or Sandor Clegane rape her. Stannis is an idiot, too.

After finishing the 4th, my favorite Lannister is Jamie.

Sansa is just vapid rape-bait.

My big favs include most of The Night Watch, All the Mormonts, Greyjoys (cept Theon, such fail) and Lord Berric + Thoros.

Oh and Davos, he's bad ass.

Before you get to Feast you will hate Tywin very much, I assure you. 

Also how can you like the Greyjoys?  To me their stories were the most uninteresting, and their water god fappage annoys me to no end.  And shit, I think I need to read it again because I hardly remember what Barric and Thoros did at all :/

I can agree otherwise that their chapters were some what boring.

They do have the best heraldry, I'll give them that.  Seems like whatever is happening in Westeros, theyre always off in the corner by themselves talking about boring things and their wacky water stuff.  Just never got into them, aside from hating Theon.
