Your favorite Ulysses chapter, anon?

I guess I'd have to say Oxen of the Sun, cause it's feels so odd reading through all those different styles of language.

Fucking christ reading a Greek Epic with Roman Translations is horrible. And the entire book was horrible, i mean sure it's a great example of mythology and culture of the people but for pure entertainment it's crap.

Seriously do you ever want to re-read Odyseus ate the flower and put on Hermes' amulet and went up to the home of Circe, he drank her potion and was immune to it.

I've heard better narrating and more interesting stuff from a fat virgin DM from New Jersey, while playing a DnD game.

He's talking about James Joyce's Ulysses.  Joyce is fail.  The Odyssey is not if you read the Lattimore translation.

My favorite chapter is ch17. Who but Joyce could write an entire chapter in catechism? Brilliant!!! A true modernist classic!!!!
