Dark Tower Series

I just finished reading the last one, and what a crock of shit. STEPHEN KING IS A GIANT ASSHOLE.

honestly I didn't think the last 3 books were very good, the ending was one of the best things about it, how the hell else could he have ended it that would have been better?

Ehh i'm  only on book 3, but the series is pretty damn good so far. I realise that no matter what the ending will have to be anti-climatic. Any story that goes past a trilogy will have a horrendus amount of material to try and cover up smoothly, but at least up to the ending it's pretty good.

Also does king ever wimp out and give Roland back his right fingers?

Roland has gotten to the tower many times before, and every time it sends back to the beginning of the first book with a slight change. He's in a perpetual loop.

The only books of his I ever really liked were Carrie and the Shining. 'It' was okay I guess.

The Long Walk was his only good book.
