I've read The Thief of Always and Weaveworld (though since I was about eight at the time a lot of it went over my head). I liked both, but I liked The Thief of Always much more.

Are any of his other books good? What does /book/ think of Clive Barker?

The Books of Blood, which are short stories. Always good.

Also, I rather liked Imajica, even though that one is less horror and more fantasy, although of course it's fantasy done by Clive Barker and therefore weird and with plenty of equally weird sex.

Abarat is the best fuckin fantasy ever. There's a villain called Christopher Carrion. That in itself proves its uberness.
Read it. Bitch.

The Damnation Game is probably his best novel so far. Check it out.

I was looking at starting on Clive soon. What's best as a first-read?

Don't change these.
