Atonement by Ian McEwan

This book literally startled me with its excellence.  It's possible that by himself, McWwan is shouldering a literary revival... oh wait..  this forum is just for nerd boy fiction.

DID ANYONE READ STARSHIP TROOPERS AND SEE THE MOVIE?????????

Well, I'm open to suggestions, care to tell us all about McEwan's "Atonement"?

Otherwise, this thread will descend back into nerd-boy fandom like so many others. And yes, I have read Starship Troopers and seen the movie as well. I preferred the book.

Sounds like someone got raped by Robert Jordan.  Can't blame you for being so testy, I'd be traumatized too.
