Old Sci-Fi (original foundation trilogy)

I stumbled upon the "Original Foundation" trilogy (I hope I translated it right because I read it in german) from Isaac Asimov.
I just loved it and the whole atmosphere it created. Maybe it was because of the already brownish paper but it always remembered me of those really old sci-fi movies (also somehow of He-Man... don't ask me why)

Anything similiar you'd recommend?

Asimov has tons of really good short stories and there's also some sequels to the foundation trilogy like foundation's edge for example, some of them weren't written by asimov though.
