Someone earlier mentioned there had been rape in Harry Potter, it's been a while since I read the books (except for 7, which I finished yesterday) and other than the whole "SOMETHING TERRIBLE HAPPENED TO ARIANA NOBODY TALKS ABOUT LOL" I can't think of any other scenes that might've suggested rape.

The point is, I think, that Voldemort made the ultimate mistake by underestimating the power of Lily's love for her child. Thus, he took the protection in Harry's blood into himself, thinking it would help him, when really it was his downfall.
And besides, I think Harry could still have been Killed, just not by Voldemort (Who he met face-to-face, like, 3 times in the whole series, and once it ended up being Dumbledore's fight, not his.)

since book 4 harry could have just went nuts and attacked voldemort head on whenever he wanted, for the most part.
And since book 2 Harry should have been getting steamy BJs from Hermione in some unused room in Hogwart's. What's your point, #43? It's not like Rowling was writing THAT MUCH reality into the books. It's the sad skill of writers to extend drama and create tension.

The Onion released a spoof video during all the speculation that was happening just before the release of book 7. As a joke they speculate about a potential date rape. This may be where that rumor started.
