Here is a list of characters who die:
(note: this is roughtly the order in which they die, i read the book really fast)
Hedwig - killed by killing curse
Mad-eye Moody - falls to his death off his broom. though no one ever finds his body, Umbridge ends up in possession of his magical eye later on in the book.
Ted Tonks - Tonks' Father. Killed by Death Eaters for hiding Harry from Death Eaters.
Dobby - Hit by Bellatrix's silver dagger in the chest as he's disapperating to save Harry, Ron, and Herminoie.
Crabbe - His death is not shown, but it's presumed he was killed by a Fiendfyre (fire that can't be put out by water and has a mind of it's own) spell he cast in an attempt to kill Harry in the Room of Requirement.
Fred - Hit by a large spell/rubble/explosion while defending Hogwarts from Death Eaters.
Lupin - It's not shown how he dies, but we know he was defending Hogwarts so he just died from some spell or the other. His body is shown in the Great Hall with the others.
Tonks - We don't see her die. She's last seen running off to help Lupin defend the castle. Body is shown laying next to Lupin in the Great Hall.
Snape - Killed by Nagini, Voldomort's snake.
Nagini - Killed by Neville using the sword of Godric Gryffindor.
Bellatrix - Killed by Mrs. Weasley
Voldomort - Killed more by his own arrogance than Harry.
some other stuff:
-Kreacher becomes friends with Harry.
-Lupin and Tonks have a son before they are killed.
-Snape killed Dumbledore, but only because Dumbledore only had one year to live. He was cursed when he put on the ring that Volodomort cursed and had been a horcrux, which is why his hand was dying during the Half-Blood Prince.
-Snape's hostile demeanor towards Harry stems from the fact that Snape knew Lily before they ever went to Hogwarts, loved her, but she didn't love him back, and ended up with James in the end.
-Harry ends up marrying Ginny. They have kids and they attend Hogwarts.
-After Voldomort's death, Harry's scar still remains.
-Luna is as loony as ever.
