Anyone here who's read this care to explain something to me? I liked the book a lot, but the whole thing with the coins has been bothering me. I understand that green taylor simms told him to find the coins in the paint cans, but what's with the boogers on the wall? when chet digs a knife into a booger spot on rant's wall, a gold coin pops out. and chet tells his wife when he leaves to dig up the spots behind little rant's boogers to find gold coins too. is this just a side effect of his breeding, like a power or something? booger coin power? i'm really confused by this and it's bugging the shit out of me.
