Tunnels hailed as next Potter

This book just came out in the UK July 3rd. However, the book was out in the UK before that. The author sold his house to self-publish. It was originally titled "The Highfield Mole" before getting it's name changed to "Tunnels".

The SAME guy who decided to publish Rowling's first Harry Potter book decided to publish Tunnels. He said the book gave him the same feeling he got after reading Harry Potter for the first time.

What's interesting to note is that the rights to publish the book in 15 other different languages have already been sold AND the movie rights for the book are already trying to be snapped up. Also, the original self-published run of the book, "The Highfield Mole", is going for insane prices on eBay and other sites.

Has anyone read it yet? I can't since I'm in the U.S. and it won't get published here until February 2008. Kinda doesn't make any sense if you think about it. I mean, why take so long to bring it from the U.K. to the U.S. They have to translate it from English to English? =P

I hope this book lives up to the hype!

For me, at least, "The Next Harry Potter" is the single worst way to make me excited about a book.

To bad it sucks.

If you want it that bad, amazon.co.uk will ship to the US. It only takes a week or so and the shipping is not that expensive.

Don't change these.
