Looking to pick up some good Steampunk/Scientific Romance. I've read Gibson, Verne and Wells. Perusing Phillip Pullman's trilogy now and enjoying it, but no clue where to go after that. Anyone?

you might want to have a look at the books set in bas-lag by china mieville then - at least perdido street station and the scar, iron council doesn't quite live up to their standards. you probably won't be disappointed by the first two, though.

Just finished The Difference Engine, which was dead brilliant and made go and do some reading on Charles Babbage and early computers in general.

Don't change these.
