"The Stand" into AIDS epidemic

If I were to reinact The Stand, (Just in an 'epidemic' way of speaking) and I were to carry a bag full of syringes containing the HIV virus, MRSA, anthrax, or any other hilariously genocidal genetically raping spreadable organism, and randomly stab a large amount of people in crowded areas, do you think this process would work- regarding that I would not be caught doing it?

I think the part where you stab people might give you away.

If you were really going to spread a disease, there's only one way. Obviously AIDS wouldn't work, saying as that is already spreading and so far hasn't caused much genocide. You would have to either A)make an extremely common disease more harmful or B)make an animal disease able to spread to humans.

So, you could find away to make the common cold deadly, or make the birdflu spread to humans. It's your choice, really.
