Life of Pi's ending.

For some reason I felt a bit betrayed after confronting with the second story. When authors do things like making the reader pick something in a book I always get the feeling that the author picks the right version for him which makes that version the "right" one.

Well, anyways, which story is the better story? I prefer the first.

I haven't read that book for a few years, remind me what the ending's were.

I think you missed the point.

Well the first story does make for a better read, the second story seemed more plausible. But like >>3 said, you missed the point of the inclusion of the second story.
