First of all, I'm pretty sure Nietzsche didn't develop syphilis until late in life. It is, after all, what killed him.

Second, no. Arguments stand on their own merits. Their origins are irrelevant. The validity (or not) of Nietzsche's philosophy is something which is wholly independent of his personal problems.

I don't even like Nietzsche. I just felt the need to comment on an idiotic statement.
