I read up until Starless Night, the guy sucks.
I love DET, but that's about it. The rest of the books are pretty much Drizzt cleaving through thousands of goblins\dark elves\orcs with barely any diaglouge at all. And his battles are boring as shit. He can't even write the thing he likes the most good, thats sad.
Well, I do love Jarlaxle, hes a fun character (pretty much the only one. Artemis also has his fun moments until he remembers how angry and shameful he is for not beating Drizzt, good for you Arty). I do want to try to read his books but that means that I'll have to read through the rest of Drizzt's books, no way.

Some of you guys read more of his stuff, does the books get any better?

says the guy who can't even form a sentence. Lets recap:

"...with barely any diaglouge at all."
"...He can't even write the thing he likes the most good..."
"...does the books get any better"

learn to read/write before you start bashing an author's work.

You don't need to be one to criticize one.

I love all of his books and Jarlaxle is a stud

As someone who used to frequent his messageboard and read his books religiously: don't bother reading anything that A) Concludes a series or B) came out in the last three years. His DemonWars series (especially the bridge book Mortalis) and some of his earlier fiction are decent,  but for the most part his trilogies fall apart in the third part.

Yeah, I tried to read other series, like Game of Thrones, but I stopped after Robb Stark's death. It was anti-climatic and stupid. I'm a Salvatore fan at heart and haven't looked back.

Don't change these.
