Aubrey/Maturin series

Just finished the first book.  ordered the second with an illustrated companion cuz some parts I was fucking lost with all that jargon.  Anybody else read, or reading them?

Books suck sure there's an ebuild for books but it just get dropped to /opt, it's statically linked, and it's CLOSED SOURCE, which means that it is a BINARY package.

c'mon it's the series that Master and Commander movie was based on. 

There were some KICKASS audio books of this series made. Dissapointingly, the best recordings were done only in abridged versions, but they didn't cut too much, and the guy who did all the voices was a straight up badass. Look for em.
