GEB: an EGB

  I just started reading the twentieth anniversary edition and I must say hofstadter can write rather well. Too bad I do not know enough about music to appreciate any of the stuff about bach :(
  It can be rather dense and filled with terminology that the reader may not be familiar with in the context used.
 Anyone else have any thoughts on it?

Books suck sure there's an ebuild for books but it just get dropped to /opt, it's statically linked, and it's CLOSED SOURCE, which means that it is a BINARY package.
