House of Leaves

I've been looking at this book, wondering or not if I should get it, so I need you to tell me about the book!

Does it have fantasy elements to it?  Or is it a realistic who-done-it type book?

Should I read the damn thing?  I've been jonesing for a nice mystery novel recently.

Which basically means the author wasn't able to psychologically fuck with the reader through his prose. Sounds lovely.
